Pro gaming is about to explode…and no one is safe. FRAG, a first-of-its-kind documentary on professional video gaming offers free viewing and launches online store.

Independent filmmaker, Cohesion Productions has announced that FRAG, a documentary on professional video gaming will coincide the opening of their online store and DVD release on August 1st with a free showing at QuakeCon.

Professional video gaming, cyberathletes and eSports are new concepts for many and never before in history has anyone conquered the controversy and corruption seen in this industry. FRAG sheds light on the struggles cyberathletes face while breaking into professional video gaming and maintaining success. Like all sports exploitation, abuse, and sometimes abandonment cause many gamers to fail to reach the top but again like all sports heroes exist.

The August 1st showing of FRAG will be on the QuakeCon main stage at 7 p.m. in the Chantilly ballroom of the Hilton Anatole Hotel in downtown Dallas and will be followed by a Q&A session with Director, Mike Pasley and Executive Producer, Judd Saul. QuakeCon is a free convention open to the public.

Cohesion Productions will also be offering a free showing to the attendees of Fan Expo Canada on August 22nd. Now in its 14th year, Fan Expo is Canada’s largest gaming event attracting over 40,000 attendees at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

You can preview the film on www.FRAGmovie.com. Also, starting on August 1st you will be able to buy the DVD and merchandise on this same website.

Hey there FRAG,

First, we wanted to welcome all our new members to the site and remind all users to stay active on the site, say hello to the new members, post comments, get those blogs posted, and upload pictures to earn points that you can later spend to buy items in the LAGtv Store (More items to be added real soon). Remember the more active you are on the site, the more fun you will have. There are so many really great gamers on the site...go out and meet them!!

Also don't forget our referral contest we are currently holding, that is ending on Oct 2nd. We encourage all members to get in as many referrals as possible to earn some sweet swag we brought back from PAX 08, and a chance to spread the word even more about LAGtv. As a reward will be giving the top two people with the most referrals the PAX prize packages. There is some serious referring going on FRAG so you better catch up quick! No cheating (Yes we can tell lol) Good luck to all!

Hey there FRAG,

Just wanted to send a message to let everyone know that LAGtv is BACK and is in FULL action! We have had a lot of exciting things happen lately, like creating new shows, bringing in new staff, and welcoming our new CEO Ron Simpson! But if you think the fun ends there, you are dead wrong...we are just getting started!

Be sure to catch our LIVE shows and interact with our hosts every night at 9pm EST Mon-Fri. We will also be covering the E for All Expo Oct 3rd -5th, you do not want to miss this. We will interview all the hot game developers LIVE and let you ask your questions.
